Hi folks,
Well, the big move is finally happening. I'll be in saying farewell to frosty ol Canberra on 21 July and heading to BrisVegas.
I'm going to miss my buddies at Canberra Art Workshop terribly.
So, can anyone recommend somewhere to do life drawing on a regular basis in Brisbane? I'm not interested in classes - just something where we share model and venue fees like we do here in Canberra.
Any ideas???  |

yes there is something like that on offer. Try the Brisbane Institute of Art in Winsor.

There are others. There is a group at Kangaroo Point that is very good and cheap and friendly - the 2 dozen club it is called. Email me and I'll give you the phone number of the modeling agent - you can get a full list from him.

Hi Rae,
Welcome to Brisbane!
If you haven't found an art group yet, I know of one.
I run it myself! Every Wednesday night, 7-9pm. Cost is $15, this includes model levy, drawing boards and some paper. BYO drawing materials.
Sessions are held at Metro Arts, Lvl 4, 109 Edward St, Brisbane.
