Hi everyone!
This is an oil on canvas board painting. The painting has been drawn extremely detailed. Has anyone got any idea about who this artist may be?
Thanks
Ella

Hi..to me it looks very like a Victor Hay..saw that as soon as I looked at the picture and then the signature seems to confirm it.
He was an Adelaide artist I believe..maybe the Bonython Galleries in Adelaide may be able to help?
Hope this helps

Hi ellle, Just found your query on Art Forum. Your painting is definitely a Victor Hay (or Hai). We have a painting by him of a scene from Uraidla in the Adelaide Hills and the signature is identical. It was originally purchased as a gift for my husband's first wife who died in 1988. Unfortuantely my husband now has Alzheimer's disease and cannot remember when he purchased it but I would reckon about 30 years ago. We treasure it as we originally came from Adelaide and now live in Atherton in tropical north Queensland so it is a fond memory of 'home'. Smile Kind regards, Margaret
