Hi Everyone.

I have a few questions re Interactive acrylics that i am hoping someone help me with.

How do you apply the 'fast' medium? is it brushed over a touch dry layer or added to the paint?

Is the 'unlocking formula' sprayed on neat or added to water first?

If i dont use the 'fast' medium can i overpaint dry layers (and how long does it take for a layer to dry)?

I did a search of this forum and the Chroma website but i couldn't find the answers i was looking for.

Cheers

Hi Poppit,

I don't know if you're still looking for the answer to this question however I started working for Chroma a few months ago and also do my own art work having finished art school earlier this year.

Unlocking Formula can be added neat to a picture and worked in but is generally diluted and sprayed onto a painting. It just depends what effect you want. Perhaps test it out first?

Fast Medium can be brushed over a dry layer which has been left until touch dry or sped up with a hair dryer. To fully cure so that the paint can't be re-opened it can take anywhere from 7-14 days depending on humidity.

You can add Fast Medium to paint which will take away the re-opening character of the paint.

Hope this Helps
