| Greenfrog it looks more like an artist talk open to anyone who books and pays the $20. |

Hey!!
What are you saying about me!
or Ben Quilty! hehe
Lucky, he's not my type, so I'll be there for The Art.
Seriously, there wont be girl artist groupies there, will there?
Thats weird...
Sorry, any hot male artists out there.... but it is.... |

No worries Greenfrog I know you are a dedicated artist and not a groupie
I've had a talk to Tarra Warra and even though they didn't seem quite sure themselves what was going to happen , they seem to think he is just giving a talk and the invitation is for artist and nonartist to go along, and at this stage they haven't got many bookings... |

Hmmm.... dedicated artist...
You are being mean to me! hehe
I will try and go, just so I can ask how he gets his paint to look so thick, luscious, creamy and shiny! |

Greenfrog I don't know th answer to that (if you go can you tell me too). But id you would like thick luscious and shiny paint get some Archival Smooth Gel Medium. It is just great. It bulks up the paint, retains the gloss and colour and dries pretty quick. |

I saw an artist talk that Ben Quilty gave at Wollongong gallery - it was very interesting - & now that you mention it Tango, he was pretty easy on the eye |

Thanks Amanda,
I don't think I have tried that, but I will check, and if not, give it a go.
I basically have a shelf full of Gels, mediums and other miscelanious jars and tubes of things I have tried and didn't work like I wanted them to... hehe
Also, my paintings seem to loose there shine as they dry (not that I want shiny paintings... just not dull ones).
If I make it there, I will ask the question and let you know. |
