Register now for Country Arts SA’s 6th Regional State Forum
Country Arts SA invites artists, artworkers, volunteers and those interested in how the arts contribute to regional sustainability across the State to join us for our 6th Regional State Forum Creative Stimulus 2009 - the role of the arts in an economic downturn.
This year we assemble in Murray Bridge, the site of the upcoming Regional Centre of Culture to examine how the arts are travelling in regional South Australia, and how they can assist communities and individuals to forge new and interesting pathways.
Some of the highlights of the program include Key Note Speaker Richard Harris of the SA Film Corporation, a series of stimulating workshops from leading practitioners from within the state and around Australia, as well as plenty of opportunities to mingle and meet other delegates.
As an added bonus for the weekend, in conjunction with ETSA Utilities, we are presenting a performance of Co-Opera’s Carmen which is sure to get the heart pounding.
Registration for the forum is only Adult $77, Concession $55 and Student $33, plus an additional $15 for any delegate who would like to attend the performance of Carmen.
