Hi all, I'll be updating this thread quite often as it will hold the works for my new challenge: depicting Port Phillip Bay in pastel on a surface 5" x 9" each. I'm aiming to work all the way along the coast, taking in my usual haunts around Mount Martha and extending through to the city in one direction and Portsea in the other. There is a heap of work to do but it should be a fun challenge.

I'll post the first works to this collection in the morning

Hi Wendy, I keep getting asked that question but the answer always eludes me. I guess it's just a matter of using the time when it's there.

Secluded cove - Mornington

Grassy knoll - Mount Martha

From eagle rock to the point (Mornington)

Toward Pelican point (Mt Eliza)

I'm starting around my usual spots as these can go straight into galleries for sale. From there I'll start to expand out. Thanks for looking!

More pieces will be added shortly

Here are a couple more for the collection. The first one is Olivers Hill, Frankston. The lighting on the day I did the study was just amazing and thankfully I managed to capture it here.

The next one is the long view of Mount Martha beach looking out toward the point.

More added soon!
