Hi Steve - I charge $1500 for a large (660 x 465) work in a frame. $950 for a smaller (580 x 405). Mind you, I'm not trying to make a living from selling them.

Commercial work is quoted on an hourly rate and ranges from $500 - $3000 depending on budget, time etc.

The reality is that there is not a huge market (in Australia) for fantasy fine art, so the problem is getting your work in front of the few people who would like to buy it ( or try eBay..)

Cheers

Grant

Thanks for that ive been geting around that much from buyers who ive sold to
and yeah ive noticed theyres not much of a demand for fantasy art here most who i have sold to have been overseas buyers or a few local buyers i am starting to try to sell online however at the moment i have more unfinished works than finnished works as they tend to sell pretty much before the paint is dry as the customers i have say they cant find anyone else who sells them
most of the works i do are 6'x4' canvas
some smaller those dont sell as quick as thelarge ones though for some odd reason Smile
and oh i dont do it for a living i just do it for the love of art but if people want to buy them all the better
