Hi,
I am looking for partners to join me for a weekend plein air painting day. I live in north-west Sydney, in the Hills region, so I'm looking for others who also live around Sydney. If you are interested, please PM me. |

| For anyone who's interested to join in, I usually go plein air painting on Wednesday mornings in the Inner West. Nothing too structured, just a few people painting together. We usually work from 9.30 to 12.30, bring a thermos of coffee, your painting gear and of course your hat. |

Hi Karl
Where abouts does your group paint?
I live in the Inner West and would like to do some plein air painting.
I ususally paint in my studio so it would be a nice change.
Cheers

Plein air in the Inner West? hmm. I suppose that's a good idea, since Plein Air is defined as 'representing effects of atmosphere and light not obesrvable in studio' (Concise Oxford) - there should be plenty of atmosphere in the Inner West. It's especially thick round Marrickville Road, Canterbury Road and Parramatta Road! Hope you take your respirators with you!
Seriously, I'd join you if I still lived in Sydney, sounds good, hope it goes well. |

Actually Pook, the inner west would also include along the Parramatta River. I was Plein Air painting the other week with some guys from the RAS at Blackwattle Bay where they are restoring the John Oxley...great subject.

Hi Brett, sorry about slow reply, I have lately been painting around Glebe Park,
White Bay, yesterday around the bridge at the end of Johnston St
The plan (which usually works) is to start around 9.30 and keep going until about 12.30.
If interested give me a call on 0411 139 961. I am in Annadale and can also indulge in drinking coffee etc.

Hey Karl, did you go to Kogarah TAFE back in 2002?
I'm just wondering if I know you.

Hi Karl
Thanks for your reply and info about the painting. Getting out into the wild (so to speak ) sounds great.
Do you only plein air paint on wed or do you paint other days as-well?
The Coffee sounds great as-well.
I will give you a call during the week.
Cheers
Brett

Hi Brett and everybody,
I'm back in town again (have been travelling) and back into regular outdoor painting. Wed morning is the standard time-slot but can also be tempted to go painting at other times.
Cheers,
