A new pastel. A bit of a departure for me. Black and white on grey Canson paper, and completed very quickly (about 30 minutes)
Does this stand up OK as it is ?
Or does it need colour?

Thanks for looking.

I think its great!

My only though is maybe a little more gesture of where the neck/body is as the head seems floating all on it's own to me.

Technique wise, I think its flawless, really nice drawing.

Thanks Brad, I just had a look through my online gallery, and you are right.
I have included some indication of neck and chest in almost all of them.
I have no idea why I didn't do that with this portrait. Maybe because I did it so quickly. I can't do anything about it now anyway, the portrait is sold.
Thanks for your input, it's something to bear in mind.
