Saw a comment here, in the forum. ~ I know it's only one person's opinion. ~ Which feels like that first drop of rain that hits the windscreen.
Nevertheless, I'm still enjoying the preparations for exhibiting my art work, at the Tap Gallery, 6-12 October, in order to celebrate my 65th birthday, with an opening there.
8 October, 6:30 - for 7 p.m.. |

Hi Ozcloggie - you're NEVER too old to do anything.
Most people feel they have to 'act their age' or allow themselves to be restricted by expectations of what they should be doing. I'm lucky, in that we seem to have a family tradition of cheerfully ignoring that. My grandmother took up playing the drums at 90 (it did drive the other nursing home residents nuts, though..) At nearly 50, I'm a keen freestyle inline skater (as is my son) and my 74yo mum has taken it up too...
Go for it. Good luck with the show.

Thanks, Grant. I'm sitting here, grinning at the screen and your advice and good wishes. (My father is 91 but isn't very active any more.)
