Thank you very much Stefan.

I wasn't aware that Brancusi was Romanian. I really like his art and appreciate his work with pure form rather than the lemming-like obsession with concept and process that dominates art today. BTW, when I was at the NGA for the Turner to Monet exhibit a while ago I admired his L'oiseau dans l'espace.

It's nice to be able to just look at fine art like that and savour the visual experience rather than trying to convince myself that some work with very little visual merit was good art because of the cleverness of the concept or process like some of the work I saw there.
