Similarly if I am working from home I'll pop in for a quick check of latest posts to relieve the monotony of hours of marking but I don't always have time to type in a response. I think it's pretty typical of most forums, people are busy with their lives and hopefully making art Smile

Just wondering how shy some of the other members are here. I notice lots and lots of views on threads, but replies can be few and far between....

Dunno about Daniel, but I work with a room full of Macs and am online most of the time - I don't think other members are shy, just have better balanced lives Smile

Hi Grant, we must have simultaneaously posted or something. Thanks for the welcome.

Unfortuantely everyone knows that forums are the best way to procrastinate about making art! You think you're doing art 'cos you're talking about it.

What's a balanced life?

Cheers

Oh, Sam Neil's popped in!

Sunday, artists make the best voyeurs, don't you think?

Hi Sam, any more dinosaur movies on the go?

Hands up all the unbalanced, voyeuristic and procrastinating artists?

I'm waving wildly (with both hands) here.

Cheers

Exactly!

Wouldn't mind trying to be more of a participant though. I always seem to be behind a lense these days. Or a keyboard. (damn these interesting forums and blogs!) I should be behind a brush.

I need more TIME!!

I hope so, then I'll have somebody to play with...

Can't wait to see what your avatar is tomorrow...

You boys are SCARY!

I still need more time. I'm cleaning up the studio (you know, more procrastination), and what I'm finding is scary. Did you know that 10 yr old pearlescent inks are still viable? Who would have thought...

Cheers

Ah yes that was when Cirque du Soleil came to town.
It had a big influence on us all.
That's me in the back with the crimson knee highs and purple feather boa.

Welcome Cindy,

Maybe Cairns will be a creative place for you when you replace your art materials. I'm flat out keeping up with posts on the forum - replies are pretty scarce from me - my excuse is someone else usually says it more eloquently! Gotta love those clowns...

Cheers, Annee
