Sounds great - lucky you. I've never been to the Alice but I believe the colours are wonderful & that its incredibly inspiring, so should be just the ticket |

I'm from Alice Springs originally, i know there are so many things to see and take inspiration from.
I remember i used to drift off while i was driving and just gaze up the hills, especially when there had just been a little rain. Almost crashed a couple of times.
Stunning.
Go to Ayres Rock, Sunsets are extraordinary!
Hmmm, I'm jealous now, i'd love to go on a holiday back to Alice, just to paint and draw.
Good on you |

Becks and kim it should be fun as i have been stuck in the studio for to long.
Belle i did enter the Alice prize but stuffed up my entry.Sent the form with no payment, got the payment there a day after deadline, The cd jpeg i sent was done on windows vista and there computers did'nt take any vista jpegs so had to email them in three days late.So my guess is they put my stuff to one side in the stuff up pile, as i have not heard back from them. |

I spent 2 years in Ayers Rock
The rock is great late in the afternoon - from the resrt there are several vantage points even if it is far away
There are some places that you can see the Olgas too
Kings Canyon also has a lot of magic
MacDonnell Ranges too (especially in the gorges)
Just take fly repellant (or fly nets) at this time of year and cover up well against the sun |
