In response to another post asking about Life Drawing Classes in Sydney.
SYDNEY LIFE DRAWING @ THE ART GALLERY OF NSW
Organised by Contempo, and held in varying locations with-in the Art Gallery of NSW.
Life drawing - 1st Sunday of each month, 10am
Artist Dave Horton begins a new year of teaching both Life and Figure Drawing. Working from a life model, the morning session focuses on short poses and a more gestural approach to drawing the figure. Bring A2 or A1 paper, pencils, charcoal, kneaded and nylon erasers, pencil sharpener, bulldog clips, light drawing board.
Figure drawing - 1st Sunday of each month, 1pm
In this second session, Dave encourages students to gain a better understanding of the figure through longer studies. Work to music as well as engage in lively discussions on current cultural events as you draw. Students must bring A2 or A1 paper, drawing materials and drawing board. Refreshments included.
