Im thinking of selling art on the streets of Hobart in toursist areas.
Does anyone from Tassie know if this is allowed or if you need a special licence??? I think It would be cool to be drawing and selling art this summer.
Has anyone else tried doing this? How did it go?

Hi Donna
As far as i know, you have to get permission from the council to do this.
Good Luck with it, hope you get lots of offers and sales

Hi Donna
You shouldn't have to much trouble getting permission, even if hubby is working with the mayor. But it could come in handy

A good option is to rent some space at the Market down in Hobart. I've seen people have some really good success doing that.

| You need a licence to sell on the streets. I have a couple of friends that have theirs. |
