Hi guys. not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. I'm currently studying for my BFa. I'm enjoying history/theory but I don't have a great memory for names and I also don't live in Paddington and get to go on gallery crawls every weekend. Researching and writing sort themselves out with a bit of application once I get a starting point or two. Just now I need names of a few artists who have been viewed or critiqued in different ways over the years. I don't think it matters whether the artist has changed their way of working or the critical theories have changed in regard to an unchanged style (or combinations of the above). My preference would be for an Australian artist who has been reviewed for a period of three decades or so and, hopefully still working. Chuck a few names in my direction guys. Written sources for crits of the same would also come in handy. Any medium or style is OK.
Thanks, Just lurking on these forums has been pretty helpfull already.
